Insurance billing is managed through Alma.
For all others, your insurance may have out-of-network benefits, which means that they will support the cost of our services. I have partnered with Thrizer, a payment application that handles this process automatically for you so you can pay only what you truly owe for our sessions. We will first check to confirm you have out-of-network benefits. If so, I will use Thrizer so that you are only charged your co-payment for the appointment.
My private pay rate is $165 for a 50-minute therapy hour, and $275 for a 90-minute session.
In our first session, you will be provided a Good Faith Estimate for the total cost of services for those opting to not use insurance benefits. Read below for additional information regarding the nature and purpose of a Good Faith Estimate.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.

Great question! The biggest thing included is your investment in your own mental health and wellness! The answer you may have been looking for is that it includes not only “the session,” but everything else supporting that session. You will get access to all of the information and education I’ve gained, as well as all the necessary supplies in-session. I continue to participate in trainings and continuing education to enhance what I’m able to offer as a provider. In additional I will provide things such as art supplies, games, and other activities. If you’re participating in sessions virtually, you will be provided a basic art kit including some simple supplies and handouts we may use in session. I strongly encourage having this kit easily accessible for sessions.
You will also gain access to a secure patient portal which can be used for scheduling, communication, and telehealth! Additionally, I will spend time outside of session to effectively plan interventions and activities, including the continued pursuit of trainings to expand my knowledge, skills, and services.

By making the decision to invest in your mental health with your hard-earned dollars, you’re making a commitment to yourself. First and foremost, that motivation is one of the greatest benefits in my opinion!
Other benefits include: putting your healthcare back in your hands—your frequency or duration of treatment is not dictated or limited by a diagnosis code or insurance company. Also, no release of sensitive information to your insurance company! This can be really helpful for creating the healing space in session without fear of what’s being disclosed to insurance. For those who do choose to use insurance benefits, we will discuss what the information disclosed will consist of.
In our first session, you will be provided a Good Faith Estimate for the total cost of services. Read below for additional information regarding the nature and purpose of a Good Faith Estimate.

Yes! Contact me for additional information and rates. Coaching is a great option for individuals living outside the state of Oregon who want to build skills and tools for growth, or for individuals wanting to focus solely on chronic illness or chronic pain support. Coaching is not an alternative to therapy.
